I hope you have had a great week teaching or working with students in some capacity. As we count down to that restful time off i want to share what I have been working on.
This week has been about working with staff on communication skills and the importance of communicating. With this I have also read articles whose themes are about communicating in the classroom with students and teaching students the importance of engaging in discourse and activities of high cognitive demand.
Current Projects that may be of interest to you:
1. Special Education Preschool tracking student academic progress, common core state standards and use of dynamic learning maps essential elements alongside IEP Goals.
2. I'm working with staff as we continue to improve on the specific and realistic goals, objectives and benchmarks that are incorporated into a student's IEP.
3. Currently working on school improvement components that will assist the district in its school and student improvement efforts.
