I found that students needed to incorporate writing into their reading lives,if they were to enjoy reading. And if students enjoy reading, they would need to be able to express their ideas easily through writing.
So I bought each student a Composition Notebook and printed out Monthly Caldendar's with Writing Prompts from Busy Teachers Cafe
