Hello Everyone!
As we get ready to send our students off for summer break, some things to consider for their summer literacy and yours...
1. Create a list of book titles that students would like to read during summer. Remember to select books that are interesting and are relevant to your students' lives. Consider working in collaboration with your school librarian.
2. Consider your reading list that you will begin middle or end of July before the next school year begins.
A few great articles you may want to read over summer break are on my following favorite websites:
www.reading.org and www.ascd.org
Finally, what are some great end of the year events your school or grade levels organize of students to recognize the hard work and accomplishment of each student? I'd love to hear from you, comment below.
